Why use Wish Travel over anyone else?
Because Wish Travel do not do any form of "School Contract" for the local authority. Nothing. Not a single one! This means that we are available at the times when you need them....when everyone else isnt!
Another reason is that we ONLY use CRB clear drivers for schools. Prior to booking, just ask the drivers anem and for their CRB number and we'll happily provide it for you. Nice to know information when it comes to risk assessments!
14 seaters, 16 seaters or a coach, we're almost always available and usually on short notice!
FIFTY plus seats means you only need one supervising teacher/adult if its children.... or... its the same as more than THREE 16 seater minibuses in the one hit!
All our vehicles are fitted with individual seat belts for added safety!
We ONLY use fully trained, fully licenced, CRB clear (evidence availiable on demand) drivers that have vocationally accepted licences and we do NOT accept MiDAS training as some sort of minimum standard! There is a place for MiDAS training but it isnt in relation to formal, vocationally recognised driving of vehicles.
Dont be fooled by a company claiming to be safe just because they are MiDAS trained. MiDAS, on its own, is often a professional sounding title to an otherwise illegal practice. MiDAS training does not mean the driver can drive safely or...more importantly... legally.
The legal requirement is that the driver is a category D / D1 licence holder with no limitations. There is no legal requirement for MiDAS and there never will be. Dont be fooled.
