1. If we agree to take on work on your behalf, we agree to be there on time, in a clean and suitable vehicle and with correct and legally qualified persons for the job. We will be at the right places, at the right times and pick up the people you have told us to pick up and take them to where you have told us to take them.
2. There is a soiling charge of £60 in the event of anyone being sick in the vehicle. If the person who is actually sick is not identified for some reason, the person booking the minibus will be responsible for the costs of cleaning up the soiling/sick.
3. We can only be on time for you if you are on time for us. We can only promise a 15 minute window before we might be forced into leaving. If your group is not within 15 minutes of your agreed time slot, we reserve the right to charge for the waiting time or leave you entirely as we are likely to have other people that are relying on us to be on time for.
4. Wish Travel will not tolerate, in any way, any form of abuse to the driver even if the driver is wrong. If the driver feels threatened (physically or verbally) the driver has the sole and absolute right to terminate the arrangements with the customer without notice. Prior to termination, the driver will warn the individual in question, or the person that actually booked the job, that they are receiving a warning. Only one warning will be given and when a warning is given, it does not matter whether the customer knew the warning was given or not. After termination, the driver will report the incident to the office and this may result in Police action being taken.
5. The driver also has the right to terminate your agreement without notice for any reason where the driver feels likely to be, or has been, assaulted either verbally or physically.
6. It is the responsibility of the person booking to ensure that members of your group behave throughout the minibus journey. The driver is not expected to supervise the group as a whole. The person booking the trip is responsible for the party as a whole. That is usually who the driver will communicate with.
7. The driver is working under instructions given at the time of booking. The driver is aware of all material pick up and drop offs. Should a drop materialise that does not appear on their instructions, the driver (at his discretion) may undertake to do that drop.
This is discretionary and may not be possible where there is work immediately after your job is meant to finish. If it is not possible, we are sorry but it should have been disclosed at the time of booking.
Terms
8. Any drops NOT booked in advance will be charged at the current rate at the time. All drivers have a charge sheet and a copy is available on demand from the driver, or on email prior or after your job. You have a right to SEE the charge sheet but not TAKE the charge sheet. Our charge sheet is freely available for inspection and any person wishing to go anywhere other than the agreed drop points will be informed before the drop of exactly what the price will be. They do not have to agree to the price, they can get out at the pre-arranged drop. If they do agree to the drop, payment before the additional drop will be asked for.
9. If we provide a personal number of our driver for your convenience, you must inform your driver if things start to go ‘wrong’. If there is delay, please tell us. We may have to charge you if we cannot work round the delay.
10. We reserve the right to subcontract any works we agree to perform but if we do subcontract, we agree to be liable for the satisfactory performance of the subcontracting.
11. We also reserve the right to use or substitute any vehicle for your job. You may have 11 people going originally in a 12 seater but if operational circustance forces the decision, you may end up getting a 16 seater or a coach to fulfill your job. This would usually be rare but may occur in circumstances where many groups are going to the one venue, for example, a music concert or a sporting cup final.
12. Whilst we endeavour to be on time for your job, we accept no liability if any delay is caused by forces beyond our control, for example (but not restricted to) motorway traffic following a collision.
13. Any damage caused to any part of the vehicle by any person or persons in your party is chargeable to the person booking the job in accordance with civil liability and Wish Travel will not hesitate to seek legal action against anyone found to be causing damage to any of our vehicles.
14. We reserve the right to protect our driver, our vehicle and your passengers with the use of in vehicle CCTV systems.
15. We also reserve the right to use any CCTV footage acquired whilst performing our agreement to prove any civil liability or any criminal liability
16. In the event of any dissatisfaction on the part of Wish Travel, a complaint should be made ringing the official telephone numbers given on this website, or in writing to the registered office address at the botton of this website. This matter will be acknowledged within 24 hours of receiving it and you will be told how the complaint is to be handled with regard to finding a solution.
17. Deposits will only be refunded if the job is booked less than 3 days ago (partial or full days), or, the cancellation occurs a full week (or more) from the due date of the first part of the job.
